Progresque Amazing EP by a far too underrated band. It's easy to get into and for the seasoned listener there's always something new to find. Don't expect to find the most complex progmetal ever. I'd say it's closer to alt metal with some fresh electronic elements. And be prepared to sing some of these songs along, there's some very catchy and well thought out melodies on here. If you like Karnivool or September Again, you'll certainly like what you'll find here. Favorite track: The Path.

The Path 06:43
The path was lighted to make a great escape Soul divided, leading us astray Oh, you're not the only one (chorus) Not saying it's over Not saying we've run our course But it won't be easy Not saying it's over Not saying we came up short But we're going nowhere Separated the truth from golden skies Say you hate it, but know that it's a lie Find your fortune was never really there Go with caution, the path has disappeared Oh, you're not the only one chorus
3.
Empire 06:37
Downplay Living all my dreams away Break stride Caught up in the rising tide (chorus) All we are is hollow Collapse the star Dissolve tomorrow I know I heard it on the radio Empire Built on top of your desire chorus Won't break, unmade Seeing through the cracks in the wall Won't break, unmade Casting out a curse to catch the fall Black lake, debts paid It only took an age to drown them all One life, so bright They never really wanted to believe Won't break, unmade Empire falls before the wake Won't break, unmade

Spectre 06:11

He came through the watershed and broke your heart to keep a level head He said "we are the way we came, and we can only burn away" (chorus) Long goodbye to heaven The sky is overrun Oh, we are forever Circling the sun Fable, written in the clay A coin to pay the soldier at the gate Angel, who longs for brighter days But she can only burn away chorus x2
